You will find that the Charleston area is generally very active for barnacles, seagrass, oysters, and crustaceans. Oddly enough, the farther North or South that you go, the growth really slows down and hull cleaning is not as common.

A diver can catch things before something goes wrong like bad thru-hulls, intake clogs, prop and metal erosion, zinc replacements, and more! It is wise to have a diver visit your boat once a month, and more often in the summer.
