Boat Bottom Cleaning & Hull Cleaning Charleston, SC

If you have kept your boat at a marina in Charleston for more than a few months, you have probably experienced the underwater growth or seen it on your boat. As a fellow Charleston boat owner, please take my advice and ensure that your boat is has a good diver cleaning the hull on a regular basis.
The growth in Cooper River, Ashley River, Wando River, the Stono, and so on, is very aggressive. You will find that the Charleston area is generally very active for barnacles, seagrass, oysters, and crustaceans. Oddly enough, the farther North or South that you go, the growth really slows down and hull cleaning is not as common.

A commonly overlooked area of your boat is always beneath the waterline. The topside stands out, but underneath the waterline is arguably the most important part of your boat!

A diver can catch things before something goes wrong like bad thru-hulls, intake clogs, prop and metal erosion, zinc replacements, and more! It is wise to have a diver visit your boat once a month, and more often in the summer.
