Sliding the gimbal-slot butt end over the rod holder’s gimbal pin with the open end out makes a secure, quick connection. A beveled, nylon sleeve is included, in the instance the rod holder opening is oversized for the mount’s shaft. Verify that the gimbal slot on the mount is mated with the pin in the rod holder or Telescopic Rod Holder Mount, attach the ShadeFin and enjoy!
