The amazing crew ultimately guided the boat to a class win during Charleston Race Week in 2016.

Volunteer work in MUSC’s pet therapy program at the Institute of Psychiatry ultimately inspired a mid-life career shift. Chip decided to fully indulge his passion for helping others and applied to the Citadel’s graduate program, ultimately earning a master’s degree in Psychology and Clinical Counseling and becoming a member of the Psi Chi honors society.

Chip interned at Sweetgrass Psychiatry, a cutting-edge private practice, where he treated a wide range of clients, including adolescents and couples.
